Windstorm strikes Marabá

Strong wind, heavy rain, powercuts, falling trees, roofs flying everywhere and chaotic traffic were some of the problems people had to face last night. A terrible windstorm took place in Marabá. It was early in the evening when the city was hit hard by the wind followed by a very strong rain. It didn't last for long but that was enough to cause a lot of trouble for its inhabitants. Today, all over the city, people were talking about what happened yesterday. Stores,companies and many of our people had to dedicate their attention this morning to the damages caused by the windstorm.Gas station structure completely destroyed.Powercuts still remained during the day.Many companies will need a facelift. Damages are visible everywhere.That was really scary.
